An Abundance of Mangos

Image
I have been making mango salsa from the mangos in our yard and fresh pineapple that I buy at our local stand. I cheat by buying salsa in a jar and mixing it with the mangos and pineapple 🍍. It’s pretty yummy. I wanted to show you the fallen and rotted mangos in the yard next door to ours. Apparently they don’t like mangos. I looked up the price of mangos in the States and organic mangos are 3 for $5.00, and there they lay rotting in my neighbors yard. So sad 😞. I have my very own tiny, baby gecko 🦎 in the house. I snapped this shot last night while he was next to my juice glasses and coffee cups. I would say he is about 4 inches long from head to toe. When we lived in Florida, I would freak out when I saw a gecko in the house. Now, I consider them pets. The reason I know it is a male gecko, is becasue he was looking for something to eat, and it had only been an hour since he had eaten his dinner. That’s it for now dear friends, Carolyn
